Virtual Chimney Assessment

As an added service to our customers, we offer virtual assessments and appointments. We can do a preliminary assessment of your chimney and fireplace using images that you upload. We convey the results to you via video meeting of the work that needs to be done with no pre-inspection appointment necessary.

For a Virtual Assessment, we will need a minimum of 4 specific photos of your chimney and fireplace. More photos will allow for a better assessment but these 4 specific photos must be included. Please note the specific photo angles and items in these images that need to be included.

At least one photo of the fireplace or appliance from a few feet away, showing the entire appliance.

At least one photo of a close view of the firebox.

At least one photo from the inside of the firebox looking up the flue.

Please repeat this process for all fireplaces or appliances in the home, then fill out the form below to get your assessment. If we feel the chimney needs further evaluation, we will set up an onsite inspection.

Please note: the accuracy of the assessment depends on the quality of the images provided. We reserve the right to adjust the assessment if we arrive at an onsite inspection and discover the problem is different than what was originally seen in the images.

Our determination of estimate through this virtual assessment is not intended to speak to the safety and functionality of your chimney and fireplace. You bear full responsibility and risk of using your fireplace and chimney prior to an in-person inspection by a professional.
